It all begins with you. Get involved, show love to others, and make a difference. Choose to participate in any or all of the following ways to give back to others. Through each of these caring acts, we can reach people in our neighborhood, community, and world. Join us throughout November as we campaign for kindness.
You can make a difference this holiday season! If you’d love to help those in need in our community, bring new or gently-used coats and winter accessories to The Ridge. We’ll be accepting coats, scarves, hats and gloves. You can donate items from your own home, or purchase items on the Amazon Wish List. Choose to ship it directly to us or get it delivered then bring it to The Ridge.
There will be designated bins where you can place your items. Please drop off your items for donation in The Ridge lobby between November 1st and 22nd on Sunday mornings, or Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm.
You can also ship your donations directly to us at:

Operation Christmas Child
The amazing journey of a Christmas shoebox can begin with you. Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. You can pack a box with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children outside the United States affected by poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.
Beginning November 1, boxes will be available in the lobby or you can use your own shoebox. You can return your boxes Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm or on Sunday mornings. Please return your filled boxes to The Ridge by November 22nd.
Try out the new option of building a box online! Just visit Build a Shoebox to get started!
To find information on how to pack your box and other updates for 2020, please visit the Operation Christmas Child page.
Impact your neighbors, community, and world!
Kindness can come in all shapes, sizes and situations, but it has one thing in common—it can change the world.
