I was recommended The Ridge about two and half years ago by my tattoo artist, Patty. I was attending a church in Masontown where I was the young guy. I came here for the first time on a Saturday night and suddenly I’m the old guy. I love listening to K-LOVE on the radio so when I came here and heard the music, the hairs stood up on the back of my neck and just moved me. This is the first church I’ve attended where I don’t leave trying to guess what the pastor’s message means. Tim preaches then he tells you exactly what he means by it. You never leave guessing. I am a fourth generation dairy farmer and my job is very demanding but I still find it worth it to travel over 40 miles to church. I have attended Divorce Care at The Ridge after going through a divorce and it helped me so much that I was able to serve by teaching and facilitating. Oh, the life of a tattooed Christian dairy farmer!

I'm a work in progress, that's for sure but I'm a different person now. My wife always asks me where the old Joe went. I remember there would be times when I would get so mad I would burst capillaries in my face. Since I have been coming to The Ridge I find myself not...
