Hello, kidSTART Friends!
To me, fall means juicy apples, multi-colored leaves, pumpkin pie and family. I’m blessed to spend Thanksgiving week every year with my extended family, and there is truly no greater joy than late nights hanging out with people you’ve loved your entire life. In fact, just thinking about that week has me feeling all nostalgic and oh, so, thankful. I’m thankful for my brother’s strong hugs, my mom’s dressing (maybe you call it stuffing) and the joy in my daughter’s eyes as she runs in the surf. I’m thankful for . . . well, I could go on and on, but I won’t. You get the idea. I have much to be thankful for, and when you think about it, I bet you do too. And, who created all these things we’re thankful for? Yep, God.
Thank You, God, for everything. That’s what our preschoolers are learning this month. They’re learning that God made it all. From the water in their tub to the apple that they eat, God made it. He made the dog that barks outside. He made the parent that tucks them in at night. Most importantly, He made them. God made everything, and for that we thank Him.
