Jobs for Life (JfL) is a training program, offered through Christian Help of Morgantown, that is available to adults who are interested in finding a job.
JfL addresses the impacts of joblessness through the dignity of work, and it’s a personal development course for those who are unemployed or underemployed. JfL uses timeless, biblical principles concerning work and instructs on how those principles can be applied in the workforce. Through training, individuals develop desirable characteristics that will help them in the work force and will help them to experience life in Christ.
JfL is for two separate groups of people:
- Those interested in improving their marketability as an employee, looking for meaningful employment, currently unemployed and looking to change their circumstances
- Volunteers who have been successful in a career, and who have a desire to serve as a mentor to help others by helping share skills for career success.
