All are welcome! Come join us this Easter as we consider the new life Christ has promised to give us through faith in Him. Make plans for Beautifully Broken, and invite your friends and family to spend Easter at The Ridge.
Sometimes beautiful things are born out of tragedy.
Beautifully Broken will lead us through the last week
of Jesus’ life to see how brokenness leads to beauty.
Beautifully Broken
We’ve all heard the expression, “beauty from ashes.” Sometimes beautiful things are born out of tragedy.
Leading up to Easter at The Ridge, we’ll take a look at the last week of the Lord’s life before he went to the cross. During that week, he experienced a lot of brokenness: A friend died. A bottle was broken, and its contents emptied. And our Savior experienced a new degree of personal brokenness through his last meal and his death on a cross.
We’ll discover that each of these stories had happy endings. This Easter, we’ll take the time to see how brokenness can lead to beauty.
Children’s Programming
SATURDAY, 6 pm service:
There will be limited programming for birth through 3 years of age.
SUNDAY, 9 am & 11 am services:
Chestnut Ridge Church will have full children’s programming at both Sunday morning services for babies through 4th grade in our Nursery, Preschool and Elementary environments. Middle-school students and those who are part of Verge (5th grade) and Deviate (6-8th grades) are encouraged to attend the Easter service with their family, as these groups will not meet.
SUNDAY, 5 pm service:
There will be limited programming for birth through 3 years of age.
Sign-language Interpretation
During the 6 pm service on Saturday, and the 9 am service on Easter Sunday, there will be sign-language interpretation for all parts of the service. Upon your arrival at the church, please stop by the Info Kiosk in the lobby to be directed to the appropriate seating area.
Photo Booth
Feel free to come early to any of the services to take family pictures! There will be two photo booth areas in the lobby for you to have fun or get formal with your selfie shots or do-it-yourself Easter pics. This was a huge hit during the Christmas and New Year’s services, so we’ve doubled the space for Easter!
I was wondering if there is child care for a 19 month on saturday service
Yes! There will be limited children’s programming for kids ages birth–3 years of age at Saturday’s special Easter service. The same is available at any of our regular Sunday evening services.
My daughter is in Morgantown this weekend and could not come home for Easter. She has no car. Do you have any transportation from WVU?
If she messages CRC Campus on Facebook or Instagram, they might be able to connect her with a ride for one of the services tomorrow.
