starve hunger|do the famine

30_hour.jpg

It is hard to believe, but even in an age of unprecedented technological advancement, people are starving all over the world. Chestnut Ridge Church is committed to doing our part to help those in need, both around the world and in our local community.

30-HOUR FAMINE: world vision [nov 2-3]
The 30-hour famine is an international youth movement, under the leadership of World Vision, created to fight hunger. Beginning Friday, NOV 2, CRC students will begin their famine to raise awareness and money towards fighting poverty and hunger around the world.

Regiatration is now closed for this event.

SPONSORS: if you would like to sponsor a famine participant please email Lauren Reynolds at dv8.updates@gmail.com.

starve hunger: morgantown food drive [oct 20-28]
In order to meet the needs of our neighbors, Chestnut Ridge Church will be collecting non-perishable food on OCT 20/21 and OCT 27/28.

Groceries can be dropped off in the main CRC lobby. Donations may also be made during normal business hours [M-F, 9-5].

All donations will be distributed to local food banks and other area relief agencies.
