Chestnut Ridge Church began in 1985 with a heart to reach Morgantown for Christ. Today our vision remains the same.

While Morgantown was the beginning, the heart of Chestnut Ridge Church has always been to reach the whole of West Virginia with the good news of Jesus. Church planting is at the heart of our strategy to reach this dream.

On August 13, 2006 over 40 people were baptized in Cheat Lake. As we listened to the story of how God had changed each life, we could not but give thanks to the Miracle Maker.

It can be difficult to practically show love to those around us, especially those we don’t know very well. Bill Walker gives some suggestions and motivations for loving the people in our very midst. [Bill Walker]
